A New Beginning

You MIGHT think that a picture of a phoenix rising from the ashes would be more appropriate. Unfortunately it won't go well with the colour theme. A burning red bird on an all-blue page? What were you thinking? Where did your right brain go? Surely a sunrise over a blue pond/lake/sea/ocean goes better with the bluish theme going on, no?

Now artistic chat aside, so basically, after a long break I have decided to resume writing. Let's just see how long it's going to last this time.

If you find the link to your blog missing on the blogroll, I sincerely apologise. It's either you've stopped blogging or I have completely lost interest in your writing (ouch). Unfortunately I have no option but to cut down on the number of links, because I'm in a dilemma.

Dilemma dilemma dilemma. On one hand, I want the blog to be something private. But surely having passwords etc. for the blog is just stupid. Rather than writing a 'private' blog I'd rather keep a diary. Or email stuff to myself. Or memorize everything and hope that I'll remember every detail so that I can pass it on to my wife (or worse, my heart surgeon) on my deathbed. On the other hand, at the time I started blogging, there were so many new bloggers around, and there was this sense of excitement! You just need to discover aaaaaaall of your friends' blogs. Links were added on the blogroll not because of interest, but as a gesture of politeness.

This time it's going to be a wee bit different. I'll only link you to the blogs I actually read.

Last time it was the general feeling that the entries were too critical, too liberal, too political, too anglomaniac, too long, too insensitive, too elitist (WTF?!), too this, too that, bla3 that stopped me writing.

However there's no promise that it will be any different this time. Be warned.
